February 11, 2009 — WashingtonSenator Carper teamed up with 22 Wilmington police recruits to give blood at the newly renovated and relocated downtown donor center in Wilmington. Senator Carper has been a member of the Blood Bank for 30 years and donates on a regular basis. His phlebotomist was Christina Albaladejo.
