Sen. Carper will join Governor Jack Markell, Delaware Economic Development Director Alan Levin and tournament directors for the Little League Senior Softball World Series to announce that the Big League Softball World Series is coming to Delaware.

The Big League Softball World Series is for girls ages 16 – 18 and will bring players from all over the World to Sussex County. Senator Carper and tournament representatives will be available for photos at noon on the ball field.

Time: 12 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.

Location: Rt. 20 (Pyle Center Road), Frankford, DE

Directions: If you are arriving by car from the north on U.S. Route 113, take Route 26 east toward Dagsboro, then take Route 20 southeast toward Roxana and follow the signs to the Little League park. If arriving from the south on U.S. Route 113, take Route 54 east toward Selbyville, then take Route 17 northwest toward Roxanna and follow the signs to the Little League park.
