Sen. Carper will participate in the opening of Frankfurt Bakery and Sandwich Shop in Dover. Frankfurt Bakery and Sandwich Shop is the first business in Kent County to be approved for a low interest loan through the newly launched Delaware State Small Business Credit Initiative, funded by a $12.1 million commitment from the U.S. Treasury. The assistance allowed the bakery to make renovations and locate to the new, larger space.
