On Friday, December 7, 2012, Sen. Carper will join Sen. Coons at the Milford Housing Development Corporation to participate in their self-help housing program with USDA Rural Development. Milford Housing Development Corporation has received a grant of $790,000 from USDA Rural Development to provide assistance for 24 families in Kent and Sussex Counties as they move through the self-help housing process, from financing to building their own home.
