Milford, DE- On Monday, September 17, 2012 U.S. Sen. Tom Carper will join former Rep. Mike Castle and members of the Food Bank of Delaware for the ground breaking of the Milford Food Bank Expansion project.

Sen. Carper and Rep. Castle worked together to secure $200,000 toward the $2.6 million project. The expansion will add more storage, more room for volunteers to work, and a full-sized industrial kitchen to house a downstate culinary school program and enable on-site preparation of hot and cold meals for children.
