Sen. Carper will attend the announcement of Dover Downs Hotel & Casino's next phase of its sustainability program, which provides for the sorting of recyclable and non-recyclable materials. This program will reduce the company's impact on the Dover landfill by an estimated one-third and is a part of its energy-saving initiative that the company began in 2006.
