Dover, Del. – On October 11, 2012, Sen. Tom Carper (D- Del.) will attend the 2012 Governor’s Conference on Housing hosted by the Delaware State Housing Authority. Sen. Carper will join Governor Jack Markell and Secretary Shaun Donovan from the Department of Housing and Urban Development to discuss the state of the housing industry in Delaware and beyond.

This event will feature speakers from throughout Delaware and the region who will discuss homeownership, rental, special needs populations and other hot topics relating to the housing industry. The keynote speaker for the event will be Secretary Donovan who will provide insight on how federal programs have affected the Delaware housing market.
