Delaware Congressional Delegation to host free grant fair and workshop on April 1st in Dover

Private businesses, state and local government agencies, and non-profits from across the state are encouraged to attend

WILMINGTON, Del. — In order to help Delawareans better understand the process for finding and securing grant opportunities, U.S. Senators Tom Carper and Chris Coons, and U.S. Representative John Carney (all D-DE) are hosting a Grant Fair and Workshop on Wednesday, April 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the MLK Student Center on the campus of Delaware State University. 

Representatives from state and federal governments, private foundations, and non-profit agencies will be present at the fair. Confirmed participants include: U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Small Business Administration, the Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Delaware Community Foundation, Delaware Economic Development Office, Discover, M&T Bank, WSFS, and more.

Workshops will also be offered during the day focusing on grant writing, the grant evaluation process, and best practices for earning funding. The fair and workshops are free for participants. Seating is limited for the workshops, so please RSVP if you plan to attend.
