Carper to Join Celebration of Diversity on Holiday Designed to Encourage and Empower, Senator’s Schedule for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

GEORGETOWN, DE – Senator Tom Carper will join Monday in two celebrations of the legacy of Martin Luther King, Jr. Carper will celebrate Dr. King’s vision and unparalleled achievements with a diverse group of area scholars, educators, musicians and community leaders in Seaford and Dover. MONDAY 1/21 11:00 a.m. Sussex County’s “United We Stand” Community Day of Celebration, OPENING CEREMONY Carper to stand with the Sussex County community to celebrate the values Dr. King inspired.
