Homeland Security, the Future of Dover Air Force Base And the State of the National Economy are Topics on Tap During Senator Carper’s Day in Kent County this Wednesday

DOVER, DE – Senator Tom Carper will talk in Kent County tomorrow about homeland security, the future of Dover Air Force Base and the state of the national economy. Carper will be the featured speaker at the Capital City’s Rotary Club lunch at the Dover Sheraton. Carper has emerged as a leading moderate in the sharply divided U.S. Senate. When the 108th Congress convenes early next year, Carper will continue building consensus to ensure that amongst a sea of competing priorities, Americans are given a meaningful prescription drug bill, that education reforms are adequately funded and that national conversation on clean air is shaped by his bipartisan “4P” bill. Carper will be available for comment at the Rotary Club.
