Subcommittee on Clean Air and Nuclear Safety Review of EPA's Proposed Revision to the Ozone NAAQS

 
WASHINGTON (July 9, 2007) – The EPW Subcommittee on Clean Air and Nuclear Safety chaired by Senator Thomas Carper (D-DE) will hold a hearing to review EPA’s proposed revision to the National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) for ozone. Witnesses at this hearing will include EPA Administrator Stephen Johnson; Michelle Bell, Assistant Professor at Yale University’s School of Forestry and Environmental Studies; Vickie Patton, Senior Attorney, Environmental Defense; James Werner , Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control Director, Division of Air and Waste Management; Dr. Roger McClellan, Advisor, Toxicology and Human Health Risk Analysis; and George Grace, Mayor of St. Gabriel, Louisiana.
