Delaware's Finest Rise Among Ranks

WASHINGTON – Bringing Delaware’s finest one step closer to joining the ranks of America’s military officers, Sen. Tom Carper (D-Del.) announced today the names of his service academy nominees for the Class of 2015. Each year, members of the United States Congress are charged with nominating top candidates from their home state, ensuring that the best and the brightest are considered for admission to the nation’s leading service academies.

“The U.S. Service Academies play a critical role in developing our nation’s leaders for tomorrow,” said Sen. Carper. “Once again, I was honored to submit the names of some of our leading young people for consideration for admission to our service academies. I have no doubt that these outstanding candidates will help provide the vision and leadership that America needs to continue to lead the world. Their integrity, talents, and commitment to our nation are truly inspiring and I am proud to say they are amongst Delaware’s finest.”
