Sen. Carper Commends the Selection of Nick DiPasquale to be Director of the Chesapeake Bay Program for EPA

WASHINGTON – Today, Sen. Tom Carper (D-Del.) released the following statement on the Environmental Protection Agency’s announcement that Nick DiPasquale, Delaware DNREC Secretary from 1999 – 2002, will be named Director of the Chesapeake Bay Program:

“Nick has served the people of Delaware with distinction in many roles, including as Secretary of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control when I was Governor. Knowing his commitment to tackling difficult issues, bringing everyone to the table, and seeking common sense solutions, I was pleased to learn that EPA Administrator Jackson has asked Nick to be the new Director of the Chesapeake Bay Program. She has made a wise choice.”
