Wilmington Reverend Delivers Opening Prayer in the U.S. Senate

WASHINGTON – Today, the Reverend Doctor Gregory Knox Jones, Senior Pastor/Head of Staff at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Wilmington, Del., delivered the opening prayer in the Senate Chamber as the Senate Guest Chaplain. U.S. Sen. Tom Carper (D-Del.) invited Dr. Jones and his family to travel to the Capitol and for Dr. Jones to serve as the Senate Guest Chaplain.

Dr. Jones received both his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from the Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Louisville. For biographical information on Dr. Jones, please click here.
