Resources for U.S. Citizens in Israel

This webpage is being used to share important resources for U.S. citizens who are currently in Israel and seeking to safely leave the country.

The U.S. Embassy in Israel continues to provide security updates, including the status of land border crossings and flight availability. All updates can be found here.

All U.S. citizens in Israel are strongly encouraged to enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP), which provides important safety updates and ensures that the State Department can contact you in any emergency. You can enroll in STEP here.

U.S. citizens seeking to contact the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem for assistance should fill out this form. For general information, you may also call 1-833-890-9595 or 1-606-641-0131.

Both the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem and Branch Office in Tel Aviv remain open for processing U.S. emergency passports. If you need a passport, please fill out this form.

U.S. citizens who complete the crisis intake form should only submit one form. Any additional communication – including changes in one’s circumstances – should be directed to the e-mail provided to you upon registration. Please update the State Department if you no longer require assistance.

As always, I am here to serve you. Please contact my office with any questions as we continue to navigate this evolving situation and work to ensure the safety of U.S. citizens throughout the region.
